About Me

I am a self-taught textile artist whose work explores texture, color, and the expressive possibilities of fabric.

After more than four decades as an educator, I turned to textile art as a form of creative storytelling and personal exploration.

Through hand stitching, embroidery, fabric layering, and mixed textile techniques, I investigate themes of memory, identity, and cultural heritage.

Working with natural and artificial fibers and experimental stitching, I create tactile pieces that invite close viewing and blur the boundary between craft and fine art.
